Scholar-Athlete Program – 3M Open Events

The next BIG TLFF Day is at the 3M Open. We have two opportunities on Wednesday, July 24.

Event 1: Pickleball with the PGA TOUR Wives

We are inviting TLFF Scholar Athletes to participate in a very fun event the morning of July 24, from 9 to 11 AM, at Spring Lake Park High School.  

The kids will get a chance to play pickleball with the wives of the PGA TOUR golfers who are participating in the tournament.  The emphasis is on fun and the opportunity for PGA TOUR families to get to know your teens.

If your son or daughter has never played pickleball, no worries!  We will have a fun introduction to the sport the week of July 15.

Event 2:  Behind the Scenes at 3M Open with Amazon Web Services (AWS) with a visit by NFL Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald, Jr.

From noon to 4 PM that same day (July 24), TLFF Scholar Athletes will participate in a very cool behind the scenes look at the business and technology behind the tournament.  We will be the guest of Amazon Web Services (AWS), a major sponsor of the 3M Open.  BIG NEWS: The teens will have a chance to visit with Mr. Fitzgerald at the start of the afternoon.  He is very excited to meet each of you.

Transportation Options:  We will use our new First Tee van to transport kids who need a lift.  The pickup/drop-off schedule at Hiawatha and Theodore Wirth golf courses will be announced shortly.  If you prefer to drive, entry and parking passes will be sent to you.
